We can arrange a course to suit your level and physical strength, whether you are a first-time kayaker or an experienced kayaker. In the summer, we will snorkel at two different locations♪ For lunch, enjoy Okinawa soba noodles made on a deserted island or on a beach along the island♪

Requirements
- [Age] People under 6 years old and over 65 years old cannot participate in the tour. Minors (those under 18 years old) participating alone will need a parental consent form.
- [Body type] People with an obese body mass index (BMI [weight (kg)] ÷ [height (m) squared]] of 35 or more cannot participate in the tour. People with a BMI between 30 and 34 are asked to fill out a special pledge.
- [Language] For safety reasons, all participants must be able to understand and speak either Japanese or English.
Restrictions
- Pregnant or potentially pregnant people
- People with mental illnesses such as depression
- Those with heart disease, diabetes, high blood pressure, arrhythmia, tracheal bronchiolitis, ear, nose and throat diseases, respiratory system diseases (asthma, pneumothorax, pneumonia, pulmonary tuberculosis, etc.), and those with epilepsy.
- People who have been drinking (including those who are hungover or still have alcohol in their system from the previous day)
- Those with a fever, those using illegal drugs, and those who are deemed unsafe by the organizers on the day of participation.
- If you have any questions or concerns, please write them in the comments section when you apply. The organizers will respond to you.
- If you do not follow the guide's instructions, you may be denied entry even in the middle of the tour.
What to Bring
- Swimsuit (please wear it when coming)
- Clothes that you don't mind getting wet (rash guard or surf shorts)
- Beach sandals or water shoes
- Sun protection (sunscreen, hat, sunglasses, stirrup boots, etc.)
- Drinks (We recommend bringing your own bottles, water server available)
- Face towels to use during the tour (convenient for before reapplying sunscreen)
- Towel
- Change of clothes on the way home
Additional Info
- Regarding whether the tour will be held or not We may have to cancel the tour due to bad weather (heavy rain, strong winds, etc.). In that case, we will call you the evening before. If it is difficult to make a decision the day before, we will make a final decision and contact you around 8:00-8:30 in the morning on the day. If there is no contact, the tour will be held as scheduled.
- Reservations are accepted from 6 months in advance. For example, reservations are accepted on April 1st until the end of October.

A Memorable Trip to Gohi Island
Go and the team at Kerama Kayak were a great group of guides to hit the waters of Zamami to kayak and snorkel. For those less experienced, Go took the time to explain how to kayak and snorkel, and then we took a brief tutorial ride before heading to Gohi island across from Ama beach. The reefs were stunning, with vibrant fish and coral species. Moreso, they were accessible to all skill levels. We were served a delicious lunch on the beach alongside breath taking views. A memory I will have for a lifetime!

Amazing Guide, Great Snorkeling, and Unforgettable Sea Turtles
We had a fantastic day with Kerama Kayak Center, and a huge part of that was our guide, Shin. He was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and helped create a fun atmosphere throughout the day. The kayaking itself was enjoyable, although the weather wasn't ideal. We had grey, overcast skies, which took away some of the scenery, but don't let that fool you, I still managed to get sunburnt, so definitely wear SPF! One of the unexpected highlights was lunch. Shin made some of the best soba noodles I've ever had, which was a wonderful surprise. Our group also made the experience even more memorable. We were joined by a Czech couple and a solo traveler from Singapore, and we all got along great, making for a really fun day on the water. The snorkeling portion was the standout activity for me. We saw beautiful marine life, including sea turtles, and Shin captured some fantastic photos of both us and the underwater wildlife that we'll be able to look back on. My only criticism, and this may simply have been my misunderstanding, is that I expected the kayaking and snorkeling portions to be more integrated. I had imagined kayaking to different locations and then snorkeling around points of interest. Instead, the day felt more like a kayaking session followed by a separate snorkeling session later on. That said, we still had a wonderful experience and I would happily recommend Kerama Kayak Center to anyone visiting the Kerama Islands.

A great experience
I was met at the port when my ferry arrived so very little stress in finding the start. Lots of amazing fish, coral and sea turtles. A great lunch with hot coffee. A great way to get acquainted with the depth of sea life around Zamami Island!
